Fees are quoted per engagement following an initial assessment. Government disbursements are billed at cost and itemised separately.
What determines the fee
- Entity complexity — a single Hainan entity versus a structure spanning multiple jurisdictions or vehicles
- Headcount — the number of employees or relocating executives an engagement covers
- Substance requirements — how much ongoing governance and reporting the entity's tax position depends on
- Timeline — a standard sequence versus an expedited one run against a fixed date
Timelines depend on the same factors as the fee — entity complexity, headcount, and whether a filing is running against a fixed date. We set out a realistic, engagement-specific timeline in the written proposal, before any work begins, rather than quoting a generic figure that a specific filing sequence or processing queue could make inaccurate.
